About the McCullagh Collection

The McCullagh Collection
A private collection of Tasmaniana

John and Robyn McCullagh are residents of Devonport, northern Tasmania. They are astute collectors of Tasmaniana, and very generous indeed in their desire to share their collection.

This weblog was prepared in 2007, with some reference sections added in 2010. Items displayed here remain in the possession of John and Robyn McCullagh. More items will be available for viewing here in 2011.

Contact John McCullagh for details of any item you see on this weblog. Entries were prepared from John McCullagh’s notes and scans. Please Note: This site contains descriptions and images relating to indigenous Australians. Your discretion in using these materials is requested. In some Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities seeing the names and/or images of deceased persons may cause sadness or distress, particularly to the relatives of these people.

The McCullagh Collection includes photographs, ephemera and realia from the 19th century colonial era in Tasmania, Australia.
